Gray, Gray & Gray opens 2023 propane survey

Gray, Gray & Gray, a propane, fuel oil and energy industry consulting and accounting firm based in Canton, Massachusetts, opened its annual energy and propane survey for 2023. This is the firm’s 32nd year of conducting its survey of the nation’s energy marketers and the seventh year for its focus on national propane marketers.

This year’s survey will collect data from propane and fuel oil marketers across the country for the heating season spanning April 2022 through March 2023. The online survey is available now at gggllp.com/energy-survey-2023. The deadline for submission is June 27. Results will be published in September.

The survey is known for its key statistics, trends and benchmarking data among propane and fuel oil distributors, says Marty Kirshner, partner at Gray, Gray & Gray who heads up its Energy Practice Group. 

Kirshner adds that Gray, Gray & Gray has streamlined this year’s survey based on feedback received to make it simpler and faster for companies to complete while still providing key data points.

For 2023, Gray, Gray & Gray is partnering with Angus Energy, an energy services firm, which will provide statistics and data to supplement survey responses, and with the Propane Education & Research Council.

The Boston Business Journal ranks Gray, Gray & Gray as the 19th largest accounting firm in Massachusetts. The company also has received honors from INSIDE Public Accounting magazine as a Top 200 accounting firm.
