August 4, 2015 By

DeKalb County Central United School District, based in Auburn, Ind., plans to replace three diesel buses with Blue Bird Propane Vision autogas buses for the 2015-16 school year.

DeKalb is the first school district in its region of Indiana to purchase propane autogas buses, according to a press release from the school district. DeKalb purchased Type C school buses from MacAllister Bus Sales, Indiana’s Blue Bird dealer. Each of the three buses incorporates a Roush CleanTech autogas fuel system.
