November 2023: Household heating projections

Commentary: Households heating with propane can expect a 4.2 percent increase in expenditures from $1,476 last winter to $1,538 this year, according to the National Energy Assistance Directors Association, which represents the state directors of the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). It bases its projection on expectations of a colder winter in all regions except the West.
