NPGA names director of safety, certification

The National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) hired Eric Kuster as its new director of safety and certification.

Kuster comes to NPGA from Fairmont Insurance Co., but NPGA says he has worked for multiple propane retailers in the past. He also served as chairman of NPGA’s CETP certification committee and the Propane Education & Research Council’s safety and training working group.

Kuster’s background gives him a good perspective on safety issues facing the industry, including training, certification, liability, audits, depositions, codes and regulations, NPGA says.
