Oregon school district to use 52 autogas vehicles

Student Transportation of America Inc. will provide 60 new vehicles to the school district in Lake Oswego, Ore., 52 of which from Blue Bird will run on propane autogas. Student Transportation of America received a $3 million annual contract to work with the district for at least five years. All buses it provides to the district will include updated GPS tracking systems, two-way radios and updated security systems. The vehicles will be used at six elementary schools, two junior high schools and two high schools in Lake Oswego.
