Parker Oil buys Thomas Brothers location
Parker Oil Co. purchased the Blackstone, Virginia, location of Thomas Brothers Oil & Propane.
Founded in 1921, Thomas Brothers delivers propane to residential and commercial customers in North Carolina and southern Virginia. Thomas Brothers’ Yanceyville, North Carolina, location was acquired by Stone Road Energy in 2019.
The acquisition closed July 25, and the Blackstone office will be integrated into the other Virginia offices that Parker Oil maintains in Farmville, Burkeville, Chase City, Hopewell and South Hill.
“Thomas Brothers Oil & Propane has a long history of petroleum products distribution, as do we,” says Charlie Parker, president of Parker Oil, as quoted in The Farmville Herald. “Their mission aligns with our mission of providing quality petroleum products with great service. So, it will be a natural fit and customers should expect that same great service from Parker Oil & Propane that they received from Thomas Brothers.”
Founded in 1935, Parker Oil is headquartered in South Hill, Virginia, and has eight offices throughout Virginia and North Carolina.
