June 20, 2013 By

The Alternative Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo will kick off on June 24 in Washington, D.C., where fleet managers will have the chance to learn about the benefits of propane autogas. The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) will lead briefing sessions, an opening reception and other events. The briefings are designed for policymakers and public and private fleet managers; they continue through the show with panels on propane autogas’ advantages and a showcase of new OEM equipment. PERC will display a Liberator 6.0-liter engine as well as autogas dispensers in booth 401. Also at the show, CleanFuel USA will have a GM 4500 chassis and Roush CleanTech a Ford F-650. Kohler will debut the Exmark Lazer Z S-Series lawn mower with a Kohler propane electronic fuel injection engine. The event runs through June 27.
