U.S. Green Building Council approves propane courses

May 3, 2011 By

Eleven training courses offered by PERC now contribute to the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) professional credentialing program. The free online courses help construction professionals increase their knowledge of propane’s contributions toward eco-friendly homebuilding. The USGBC is the primary source for LEED standards, an international third-party certification system designed to improve buildings’ carbon footprints. The free USGBC-approved courses contribute one credit hour toward the LEED professional credential, which requires 15 credits every two years. Visit www.buildwithpropane.com and www.usgbc.org.
