Propane industry veteran joins Meritum Energy Holdings

Van Buren

Tom Van Buren is now working as executive vice president and COO of Meritum Energy Holdings LP, which owns and operates fuel, propane, lubricant and other natural gas liquid distribution assets throughout the southern United States.

Prior to joining San Antonio-based Meritum, Van Buren spent 18 years with Ferrellgas, including as executive vice president for propane supplier Ferrell North America. Van Buren also served as chairman of the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) from 2015-17 and has contributed his time to other PERC and National Propane Gas Association committees. He is a former captain in the U.S. Army and a graduate of Cornell University.
