Propane safety training program held in New York
Professionals and volunteers involved with propane-related emergency and incident response activities participated in the annual Emergency Responder Training Program for propane safety training at the New York State Academy of Fire Science in Montour Falls, New York.
The event, held by the New York Propane Gas Association and the Propane Education & Research Council, took place Sept. 12-14.
While at the event, participants gathered to exchange propane safety information, techniques and experiences. The event also included live demonstrations and rotating field training for attendees.
Attendees included members of fire departments and propane companies throughout New York, as well as other professionals such as fire service, emergency response trainers and law enforcement.
The New York Propane Gas Association is a member-focused trade organization providing services that communicate, educate and promote the propane industry in New York.
