Rail loading arm features fewer moving parts

November 8, 2017 By

Westmor Industries’ rail loading arms for LP gas and NH3 fuel transfer feature a reduction in the 90-degree swivels to only one 45-degree swivel, which allows for a higher capacity flow rate and low maintenance. According to the company, the unit comes pre-assembled for easy install. The rail loading arms are designed with fewer moving parts and no spring tensioning. In addition, the unit’s emergency shut-off valve is compliant with National Fire Protection Association code. The arms require minimum maintenance and only need greasing once a year, the company adds.
