July 21, 2021 By

The new IRx receiver by Base Engineering can connect to multiple products such as the BASEstation on-board computer, MEC smart interlocks and AccuMax+ Digital Dial while maintaining control of the register and payload with the ProControl3 Handheld. The IRx was designed to connect to multiple devices on the truck, allowing it to collect usage metrics and status details and forward them to any on-board computer to the cloud for truck (and/or driver or fleet) insight and analysis via customer-generated reports and dashboards. Expanded I/O includes up to 20 output channels; up to 14 digital inputs (interlocks); and up to three analog inputs. Communication features include CANBus; AccuMax+ Digital Dial; up to 3x RS485 serial ports; and up to 4x RS232 serial ports. Radio capabilities include 433 MHz ASK; 900 MHz FHS; 2.4 GHz DSS; and compatible with most current type (A) receivers without changing the wiring harness.
