Reliable Energy Partners adds COO, CFO and VP of operations

Reliable Energy Partners continued the buildout of its leadership team, adding Johnny Maddox as COO and Todd Tanis as vice president of operations, following the most recent appointment of Steven Lom as CFO.

Maddox, joining the company as COO, brings an extensive track record spanning 25 years in operations, including 18 years within the propane sector. He held leadership roles at major companies such as Ferrellgas, AmeriGas and most recently ThompsonGas, where he served as area vice president. He has extensive experience overseeing large-scale operations, driving organizational growth and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency, according to Reliable Energy Partners.

Todd Tanis, vice president of operations, has over 20 years of operational leadership experience, including 13 years dedicated to the propane industry. He has held senior positions with top energy providers, including Ferrellgas, AmeriGas and most recently as area vice president at ThompsonGas, where he demonstrated an ability to drive organic growth and foster employee success, Reliable Energy Partners adds. Reliable looks for Tanis to drive operational best practices at its partner companies.

As CFO, Lom also joined the leadership team of Reliable Energy Partners. He has dedicated 20 years to financial and accounting roles, including seven years as CFO at Industrial Truck Equipment and, most recently, Innovative Food Service Group. His extensive experience managing multi-site operations, strong technology background and demonstrated ability to provide strategic direction to private equity-backed businesses make him an exceptional fit for Reliable, the company says.
