Sliding vane pumps provide smoother operation

Blackmer offers TLGLF flange-mounted sliding vane pumps, designed for LPG bobtail and transport trucks. By providing flange mounting directly to commercial internal control valves, the pumps eliminate the need for external strainers, inlet pipes or shutoff valves. As a result, they have a longer pump life and provide users smoother operation, the company says. Available in 3- and 4-in. sizes, the pumps range in capacity from 60 to 350 gallons per minute with ANSI intake flanges. Each type of pump has a maximum differential pressure of 125 psi. To diminish the impact of cavitation, noise, vibration and wear, the pumps have cavitation suppression liners.
