SPADP fleets save $1.62 per gallon in third quarter

November 26, 2012 By

The Southeast Propane Autogas Development Program (SPADP) estimates that fleets across the 12 U.S. states involved in the program saved an average of $1.62 per gallon in the third quarter by filling tanks with propane autogas rather than gasoline. In all, SPADP estimates the total cost savings in the quarter for fleets exceeded $100,000, with an estimated 250 tons of greenhouse gas emissions displaced.

To date, SPADP estimates fleets in the program have reduced greenhouse gas emissions by more than 2,000 tons and displaced more than 1 million gallons of gasoline.
