Survey: Vehicle buyers prefer propane to electric

According to a Consumer Reports survey, America’s motorists say that when they replace their vehicle, they are more likely to opt for a natural gas- or propane-powered vehicle than one driven by hybrid-electric or full-electric technologies. Some 19 percent of survey respondents said they would opt for propane, versus 16 percent who said they would choose an electric hybrid and 14 percent who said they would buy a fully electric vehicle.
