Technology advancements discussed at annual Alliance AutoGas meeting

About 90 members, partners and affiliates of Alliance AutoGas representing 35 states, plus international representatives from the Netherlands and Canada, met for an annual gathering in Biloxi, Miss.

Stuart Weidie, president and CEO of Blossman Gas and founding president of Alliance AutoGas, made the opening remarks at the meeting. Bart van Aerle, president and CEO of Prins Autogas, provided an update on vapor and liquid-injection systems, direct injection and diesel-blend technology. BL Energie President Yvon Boisclair, an Alliance AutoGas partner from Quebec, Canada, updated the membership on diesel-blend technology.

In addition, representatives from Roush CleanTech, and Key-Stone Automotive spoke about their autogas achievements and best practices. And Jesse Johnson, vice president of Blossman Gas, provided updates on Environmental Protection Agency certifications.
