Texas school districts make autogas infrastructure investment

CleanFUEL USA has come to terms on new or expanded contracts with 24 independent school districts in the state of Texas for propane autogas refueling infrastructure. The contracts are affiliated with recent grants from the Department of Energy for $12.6 million and from the State Energy Conservation Office for $3.1 million for vehicles and infrastructure.

The infrastructure and equipment will benefit school buses in these school districts, which include the cities of Austin, Arlington and Houston.

Also, CleanFUEL USA has converted 53 school buses to autogas for Dallas County Schools in Texas. According to the company, Dallas County Schools is the fourth-largest pupil transportation organization in the United State
