WINLPG names new global chair
The Women in LPG (WINLPG), a global network founded by the World LPG Association (WLPGA), named Pam Indurjeeth as its global chair. She was named as the WINLPG 2019 Woman of the Year.
Following the WLPGA Strategic Three-Year Plan, Indurjeeth aims to take the network to a new level of worldwide outreach.
“I am delighted and honored to be appointed as the global chair of WINLPG,” Indurjeeth says. “Encouraging progress has been made by the LPG industry in its commitment to diversity and inclusion. Whilst the WINLPG chapters have taken off, we must aim to pick up the pace and set the tone for rapid transformation. Visible effort and active participation must continue in setting goals to achieve our diversity and inclusion ambitions.”
Outgoing Global Chair Paula Frigerio of Chile-based Abastible served in the role for the past three years. During that time, WINLPG expanded to nine national chapters, added 1,000 members and developed an annual webinar series.
“I am extremely proud of what has been achieved in the past few years, and I hope to continue to be an active part of this valuable initiative,” Frigerio says. “I wish Pam all the very best, and I am assured that the next three years of our network is in very safe hands.”
WINLPG was founded in 2015 and has more than 3,000 members and nine active national chapters in the U.S., Nigeria, South Africa, Myanmar, India, Brazil, Poland and Colombia. The network recently named the winners of its 2022 Woman of the Year and Young Woman of the Year awards.
