Women in Propane Council appoints 2017 officers

The Women in Propane Council (WIP) named its 2017 officers during the National Propane Gas Association’s fall board meeting in Asheville, North Carolina.

Executive officers Kelly Bosak, affirmative action officer at Ferrellgas and chair of the business council, and Laurie Irish-Jones, CEO of Irish Propane and Irish Carbonic and vice chair of the council, plan to resume their current roles with WIP for 2017. WIP appointed Milissa Lord, vice president of business development for A.R.M. Solutions, as its treasurer. Lord will begin her two-year term in January 2017. Founding chair Nancy Coop, business development executive at Ferrellgas, will remain on WIP’s executive board.

In addition, WIP plans to make the following committee leadership transitions in the next few months:

  • Jackie Hopkins of Sheldon Gas Co. will serve as chair of the programs and events committee.
  • Casandra Russo of AmeriGas will serve as the vice chair of the programs and events committee.
  • Loren Fenton of Ferrell North America will serve as the chair of the membership committee.
  • Jamie Fargnoli of Ehrhart Energy will serve as the vice chair of the membership committee.
  • Kim Tucker of Griffith Energy Services will serve as the chair of the communications and marketing committee.
  • Sarah Knight of Ferrellgas will serve as the project manager of The Knowledge Exchange: WIP Mentor Network.
