Zebulon Innovations partners with alternative fuel companies
Zebulon Innovations plans to partner with two alternative fuel companies in Nebraska, including Otte Oil and Propane and Clean Alternative Fuel & Energy Nebraska (C.A.F.E. Nebraska).
Zebulon serves as a distributor of Zavoli LP gas and compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicle conversion systems and a distributor of a line of IMPCO Automotive conversion systems. As a result of the new partnerships, a Zebulon representative plans to meet with Nebraska-area fleet owners interested in converting to alternative fuels Aug. 10-12 in Lincoln, Neb., the company says.
According to Zebulon, the company hopes these partnerships will better promote the use of domestic alternative fuels. Otte Oil and Propane owns and operates LP gas vehicles, along with five public access LP gas stations with four locations in Lincoln and one in Columbus, Neb. C.A.F.E. Nebraska sells and installs both LP gas and CNG vehicle conversion systems for Zebulon, and it has been performing alternative fuel vehicle conversions for five years.
“We select auto shops with good reputations, ASE-certified technicians on staff and experience in the industry,” says Lee Nelson, director of mechanical operations at Zebulon. “C.A.F.E. Nebraska has everything we look for in an installer. They do great work.”
In addition, Zebulon’s Zavoli LP gas and CNG vehicle conversion systems have been used in large-scale projects in recent years. According to Zebulon, DeKalb County in Georgia used the Zavoli LP gas system for its 46-vehicle police fleet, and Zebulon installed the system.
