AEGPL elects association president

July 21, 2017 By

The European LPG Association (AEGPL) elected Francesco Franchi to serve as its new president during its general assembly meeting at the 2017 AEGPL Congress in Lisbon, Portugal.

Franchi, president of the Italian Association Assogasliquidi, plans to lead AEGPL for the next two years. He replaces Paul Ladner, Group CEO of UGI East, as the association’s president. Ladner will remain on the AEGPL management committee as its past president, AEGPL says.

“It is a big honor for me to be chosen as the new president of AEGPL,” Franchi says. “I look forward to working with the staff in Brussels and with the 50 members across Europe in highlighting the benefits of LP gas and the contribution it can make to a cleaner Europe.”
