Propane Autogas Clean American Energy logo from the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) to label autogasThe Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) released its first logo for propane autogas: Propane Autogas Clean American Energy. PERC explains that it created the brand to showcase propane autogas as an American-made energy source and to solidify propane autogas as the official name for the alternative fuel.

PERC says fleets with propane autogas vehicles can place the Propane Autogas Clean American Energy logo on its equipment to promote the alternative fuel.

“Propane autogas use is on the rise because it offers fleets a lower total cost-of-ownership, while also improving air quality and increasing use of our nation’s own energy resources,” says Roy Willis, PERC’s president and CEO. “Propane autogas-powered vehicle sales are projected to see substantial growth in 2015, so the time was right to create a logo that would give proper notoriety to the thousands of fleets using the fuel today.”
