2023 LP Gas Growth Summit returns to Florida in September

It’s official: The LP Gas Growth Summit is positioned to build more propane partnerships. LP Gas magazine announced dates for its 2023 Growth Summit, which will be held Sept. 19-21 at Reunion Resort, outside Orlando, Florida.

LP Gas launched the annual Growth Summit in 2015 as an avenue for propane retailers to form partnerships that help them strengthen their offerings in traditional markets, expand into new markets and increase their operational efficiencies in serving a variety of customers.

The unique networking event brings together retail propane company leaders and vendor partners for one-on-one meetings, educational opportunities and a golf outing. Last year’s Growth Summit drew about 20 retail propane companies – representing 15 states – and 14 partners.

“We are newer in the propane industry, and we recognize the tremendous growth opportunity within propane. We want to align ourselves with the best vendors and the best partners and move forward in what we see as a great growth industry,” said Ryan Robbins, vice president of sales and marketing at Button Holdings, who attended in 2022 with company CEO Steve Passio.

Growth Summit partners confirmed so far this year are ADD Systems; Cargas; Gray, Gray & Gray; IPS; Legacy Energy Consulting; LP Cylinder Service; Metsa; Otodata; Quality Steel; Rural Computer Consultants; Tankfarm; Tiger Payment Solutions; and Westmor.

“You get to sit down one on one with the marketer and with the vendor to discuss in much greater detail, [at a] much higher level,” David Dodd of Otodata shared with LP Gas during the 2022 event. “Plus, the social aspect of it – where we have dinners together, we have a golf outing, we have a barbecue – all that leads up to a much deeper level of understanding between the marketer and the vendor.”

LP Gas offers propane retailers a complimentary participation package that includes two-nights lodging, meals and golf. LP Gas asks retailers interested in attending the Growth Summit to complete an application.
