Alliance AutoGas unveils diesel displacement system

Alliance AutoGas released a diesel displacement system for the Volvo D13/Mack MP8, which allows the vehicle to run on a mix of diesel and propane. The system allows fleet owners to experience fuel-cost savings of 15 percent or more without having to buy a new vehicle, according to the company. The system, which can be installed in one day, comes with a one-year, 100,000-mile warranty. New conversions also include an ultra-low emissions refueling nozzle.

Multiple tank options are available for the diesel displacement system. Propane Performance Industries offers a conformable aluminum tank (pictured here with 48 gallons of useable capacity), which it displayed last week at the ACT Expo in Dallas.
