Cavagna fulfills engine conversion interest with Bigas deal

December 29, 2015 By

Cavagna Group has assumed full ownership of Bigas, an Italian company specializing in the production of fuel system technologies for LP gas and compressed natural gas (CNG) engines. The Florence-based Bigas plant designs and manufactures the front kit for converting vehicles with direct or sequential fuel injection systems and naturally aspirated engines. Cavagna says the deal fulfills its interest of having more direct involvement in the field of LP gas and CNG engine conversions. Bigas is also a partner of Greengear Global Ltd., the British subsidiary of Cavagna Group, for the supply of the Enerkit small engine product line. These LP gas-converted offerings include mowers, forklifts, snowblowers and sweepers.
