Edington brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the propane industry, along with a distinguished background as a U.S. Army Special Forces veteran. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to operational excellence, strategic growth and team development, according to EDP.

Since joining EDP in 2022 as regional vice president for the Southwest Region, Edington has played a key role in enhancing operational performance, strengthening service center leadership and implementing key initiatives to improve efficiency and drive growth.

Prior to joining EDP, Edington held senior leadership roles at ThompsonGas, Ferrellgas and Liberty Propane, where he successfully led large-scale operations, managed acquisition integrations and built high-performing teams across multiple regions.

As COO, Edington will oversee all operational functions across EDP’s nationwide footprint, including regional leadership, safety, supply and field technical support. He will focus on driving performance, enhancing customer service and aligning operations with the company’s long-term strategic goals.

Edington holds a Bachelor of Science in government and history from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina.
