Elaflex says the expansion into the North American market through Elaflex US will allow clients to receive products at the lowest total cost of ownership, delivered in a timely manner. In addition, the presence of a U.S.-based technical sales and support group will mean increased customer satisfaction, according to the company.

As managing directors, Dan McGill and Ricky Lee will oversee the Elaflex US office, offering consulting services and a supply of refueling products.

“Our ambition is a fast time-to-market for the benefit of our customers and strengthening our market position with Elaflex innovative products in the U.S. and Canada,” McGill says in a company news release.

Elaflex is a refueling system provider specializing in engineering, manufacturing, distribution and maintenance of propane, compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas, hydrogen and conventional refueling technology. The company’s refueling equipment includes valves, nozzles, hose assemblies, couplings and expansion joints. Its brands include Oasis, Aljac, MannTek and DanTec.

The company says it plans to work with U.S. customers to develop refueling products suited to their needs.

“We are absolutely delighted to offer customers in the U.S. and Canada a new service in consulting, warehousing and distribution,” says Stefan Kunter, CEO of the Elaflex Hiby Group.
