Gray, Gray & Gray begins data collection for 2024 propane survey
Gray, Gray & Gray, a propane, fuel oil and energy industry consulting and accounting firm based in Canton, Massachusetts, opened its annual energy and propane survey for 2024. This is the firm’s 33rd year of conducting its survey of the nation’s energy marketers and the eighth year for its focus on national propane marketers.
This year’s survey will collect data from propane and fuel oil marketers across the country for the heating season spanning April 2023 through March 2024. The online survey is available now at gggllp.com/energy-survey-2024. The deadline for submission is June 25. Results will be published in September.
The survey is known for its key statistics, trends and benchmarking data, says Marty Kirshner, partner at Gray, Gray & Gray who heads up its Energy Practice Group.
“Our annual survey has become the benchmark for management statistics for fuel delivery retailers across the U.S.,” Kirshner says. “Companies use our survey results to measure their own performance, and the overall data provides a closer look at how the industry is doing, based on data that comes directly from those doing the work.”
Gray, Gray & Gray partnered with Angus Energy, an energy services firm, which will provide statistics and data to supplement survey responses, and with the Propane Education & Research Council.
Gray, Gray & Gray is ranked among the country’s Top 200 accounting firms by INSIDE Public Accounting magazine, which also named the firm to its “Best of the Best” list as one of the nation’s best-managed firms. Gray, Gray & Gray serves clients in a broad range of industries, including the energy and propane industries. The firm is a member of CPAmerica Inc., one of the largest associations of independent accounting firms in the U.S.
