IDEAL Energy Cooperative hosts supplier roundtable

March 5, 2021 By

IDEAL Energy Cooperative held its semi-annual supplier roundtable where cooperative member owners were joined by several of their supplier partners – Paul Capriotti of Blackline (Sea-3), Pete Rieg of The Redwood Group and Matt Harrison of Gulf Oil.

Partner panelists discussed current energy supply and the supply outlook for delivered fuels such as propane and heating oil.

“We received critical information from our supplier partners that will help to inform both current decision-making and future strategic planning as well,” says Ryan Jackson of D.F. Richard. “We appreciated the real-time information brought to the table by our partners despite this extremely busy season. Thanks to all who took precious time to participate, and we look forward to our next supplier roundtable event this summer.”

IDEAL Energy Cooperative is a member-owned qualitative purchasing cooperative of privately held, independent energy distributors, delivering over 248 million gallons of propane, heating oil, diesel, gasoline and biofuels. The cooperative says it works to sustain the local fuel provider with community-based fuels and service.

Founded in October 2019, the cooperative has a member footprint, as well as supplier and vendor partners, throughout New England, New York and Pennsylvania.

Kris Magnusson and Chris Brennan serve as general managers and co-founders of the group.
