Alliance AutoGas fleets win Green Fleet Awards
Two fleets featuring Alliance AutoGas technology and infrastructure won Green Fleet Awards at the Sustainable Fleet Technology Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The fleets – Chesterfield County, Virginia, and Blossman Gas – won a top 50 Green Fleets placement at the ceremony. Chesterfield County, with 64 propane buses and 42 bi-fuel propane autogas vehicles, ranked 27th in the country for its sustainability efforts. In addition to its Green Fleet Award, the organization was recognized for Best Fuel Technology Integration.
Blossman Gas, a founding member of Alliance AutoGas, also made the list, ranking 48th. Blossman has over 75 percent of its fleet running on autogas.
In addition to the awards, Alliance AutoGas customer Davidson County Transportation exhibited at the event, showcasing a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD. The vehicle was converted to run on propane with an Alliance AutoGas bi-fuel system.
The awards were announced and presented by the NAFA Fleet Management Association in conjunction with the conference.
